Dispatcher - driver support (Omaha, NE)

Summit Mill Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
