Dispatcher - driver support (Oakland, CA)

Silverline Bridge Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Oakland. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on driver support. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling scheduling on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of scheduling. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
