Dispatcher - driver support (New Orleans, LA)

Harborlight Meridian Inspection Services Group is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling field inspections on changes. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
