Dispatcher - driver support (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Hollow Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be driver support. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
