Dispatcher - driver support (Memphis, TN)

Ironwood Quarry Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Memphis. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on driver support. You would join a small organisation of about 71 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
