Dispatcher - driver support (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Stone Freight Group and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be driver support. You would join a large organisation of about 208 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
