Dispatcher - driver support (Jacksonville, FL)

Northwind Clear Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
