Dispatcher - driver support (Jackson, MS)

Silverline Wren Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of carrier rates. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
