Dispatcher - driver support (Indianapolis, IN)

Silverline Mill Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Indianapolis, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our driver support. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of customer tracking.
