Dispatcher - driver support (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Glen Environmental Services and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be driver support. You would join a large organisation of about 358 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling service complaints on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of service complaints. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
