Dispatcher - driver support (Grand Rapids, MI)

Rivermark Ashton Freight is a Grand Rapids logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our driver support. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
