Dispatcher - driver support (Grand Rapids, MI)

Ironwood Hollow Environmental Services is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 166 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling fleet maintenance on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of fleet maintenance. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
