Dispatcher - driver support (El Paso, TX)

Northwind Ashton Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of carrier rates. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
