Dispatcher - driver support (Detroit, MI)

Stonegate Hollow Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Detroit. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on driver support. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling recycling loads on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of recycling loads. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
