Dispatcher - driver support (Charlotte, NC)

Cedar West Environmental Services is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 100 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
