Dispatcher - driver support (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Northwind Quarry Environmental Services Group and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be driver support. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling fleet maintenance on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
