Dispatcher - driver support (Baltimore, MD)

Cedar Wren Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Baltimore with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on driver support. You would join a large organisation of about 443 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling recycling loads on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of recycling loads. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
