Dispatcher - daily route planning (Virginia Beach, VA)

Ironwood Stone Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Virginia Beach, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling fleet maintenance on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of fleet maintenance. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
