Dispatcher - daily route planning (Virginia Beach, VA)

Bright Cross Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Virginia Beach with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would join a large organisation of about 538 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
