Dispatcher - daily route planning (Tampa, FL)

Northwind Birch Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on daily route planning for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of loads and lanes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
