Dispatcher - daily route planning (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Bright Fern Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be daily route planning. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of customer tracking. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
