Dispatcher - daily route planning (Savannah, GA)

Amberfield Mill Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Savannah. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of proof of delivery. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
