Dispatcher - daily route planning (San Diego, CA)

Lumen Harbor Environmental Services is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on daily route planning for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of collection routes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
