Dispatcher - daily route planning (San Diego, CA)

Bright Freight is a San Diego logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
