Dispatcher - daily route planning (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Clearpath West Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be daily route planning. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
