Dispatcher - daily route planning (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Summit Meridian Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be daily route planning. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
