Dispatcher - daily route planning (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Bright Environmental Services and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be daily route planning. You would join a small organisation of about 171 people based in Reno. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling landfill records on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
