Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Birch Environmental Services and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be daily route planning. You would join a large organisation of about 568 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of collection routes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
