Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

Fernwood West Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Oakland, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling cold storage on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
