Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

Fernwood Clear Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Oakland. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling cold storage on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of cold storage. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
