Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

Ironwood Juniper Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Des Moines, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling recycling loads on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of recycling loads. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
