Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

Rivermark Bridge Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Providence, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
