Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

Westbrook Rowan Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Baltimore. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would join a small organisation of about 86 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling recycling loads on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of recycling loads. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
