Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

Bluepeak Meridian Farms supplies farm and food customers across the New Orleans region. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would join a large organisation of about 521 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling grower contracts on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of grower contracts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
