Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

Foxglove Birch Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Sacramento with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling landfill records on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
