Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

Greenridge Cross Environmental Services is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on daily route planning for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling recycling loads on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of recycling loads. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
