Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

Bluepeak Fern Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Indianapolis, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling service complaints on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
