Dispatcher - daily route planning (remote)

Highbridge Harbor Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Nashville, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. You would join a small organisation of about 170 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
