Dispatcher - daily route planning (Pittsburgh, PA)

Greenridge Cross Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Pittsburgh, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
