Dispatcher - daily route planning (Philadelphia, PA)

Fernwood Hollow Farms Group grows and distributes produce from farms near Philadelphia, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling grower contracts on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of grower contracts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
