Dispatcher - daily route planning (Orlando, FL)

Amberfield Birch Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Orlando. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of proof of delivery. • Experience with routing software.
