Dispatcher - daily route planning (New Orleans, LA)

Cedar Quarry Environmental Services Partners serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in New Orleans. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would join a large organisation of about 580 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling recycling loads on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of recycling loads. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
