Dispatcher - daily route planning (Nashville, TN)

Fernwood West Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Nashville, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling loads and lanes on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of loads and lanes. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
