Dispatcher - daily route planning (Madison, WI)

Redstone Drift Freight is a Madison logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. You would join a small organisation of about 172 people based in Madison. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
