Dispatcher - daily route planning (Little Rock, AR)

Lumen Forge Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Little Rock, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
