Dispatcher - daily route planning (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Summit Health and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be daily route planning. You would join a small organisation of about 112 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling harvest schedules on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of harvest schedules. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
