Dispatcher - daily route planning (Jacksonville, FL)

Fernwood Birch Freight Group is a Jacksonville logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling claims on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of claims. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
