Dispatcher - daily route planning (Houston, TX)

Bluepeak Linden Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Houston with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling weigh tickets on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
