Dispatcher - daily route planning (Honolulu, HI)

Cedar Bridge Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Honolulu, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our daily route planning. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of carrier rates. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
