Dispatcher - daily route planning (Grand Rapids, MI)

Amberfield Fern Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on daily route planning. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling field inspections on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
